Consortium of African Diasporas in the US (CADUS) hosted an online panel that included professors of STEM and practitioners. The event was hosted on October 13th. We had 100 people join the discussion! Those who participated were able to increase their understanding of the importance of education for all. With STEM in particular, especially girls, as they complement that of the boys in their families.
The key objective was to engage with policy makers, development foundations and institutions, academia, women leaders in STEM, parents of girls and identify particular problems and solutions to the challenges faced by children, girls and the youth in promoting and advancing STEM education.
